Pros
I had an overall good experience at ICLEI, first as intern and later on as assistant, for a total of 9 months. The colleagues are all very welcoming and open to help. I worked on interesting projects, and learnt how NGOs in the climate space work in terms of funding, EU projects, climate diplomacy and more.
Cons
The staff at ICLEI WS rarely goes to the office, which makes the job a bit alienating. Every task takes double the time it should in any other workplace due to miscommunication, lack of follow-up and coherent organisation across and within teams.
