Pros

The work is diverse and you can make what you want of your career at ION The work environment has improved over the last few years and will only go strength to strength. Exciting opportunities are thrown at you and give you a good insight into different areas of the business. Flexible work hours, as long as you get the work done nobody seems to mind if you come in an hour late and stay an hour later in the evening. Opportunities to travel internationally and work onsite at clients is very good. Good pay and compensation

Cons

Clarity on where the company visions itself in 5/10 years is not given. The flat structure to the company has a main disadvantage of senior management almost becoming too overwhelmed.

We have grown a great deal over the past few years, resulting in junior people taking on responsibility quickly and learning a lot on the way. During busy weeks the workload can be a lot, but overall the work life balance is quite favorable. Our clients and global presence require us to travel internationally, which is great if you like exploring new places. The people are all smart, and want to help you succeed.

Cons

Historically there has been little focus on corporate culture, and transparency, through this has noticeably increased and is continuing to do so.

Excellent software products Big investment in software development and new technologies Most people are really good to work with Compensation is very good for high performers

Cons

The expectations on employees are very high. This isn't the place to come if you want to be anonymously mediocre. Communication from the top is quite thin, although this has improved recently. Company culture isn't coherent, probably due to the company having grown so much through acquisition but again, there does seem to have been a push to improve this recently.
