Normally don’t leave review but some recent reviews are suspicious as I don’t even aware there is a project engineer on the site! 1) Yes, company is growing but still have R&D mindset. 2) Highly political. Power grabbing in the senior management is destroying the company. One team is treated very well while the rests are dirt on the floor. 3) You have to follow what senior management told you to do. No question. 4) Highly ambitious and many promises to investors (somehow they buy into it) but unwilling to spend on infrastructures that helps high volume production. So many manual interventions. 5) high employees turn over. A lot of inexperience new engineers, managers and directors. 6) Don’t expect for career prospect or advancement. 7) Do not acknowledge of any positive contribution but you will be pointed out if you make even simple mistakes. 8) No feedback on your work and manager do not care about have 1 on 1 discussions. 9) You will be expect to be on call up to 10pm and over the weekend without OT payment. 10) Empty promises. Feels bad for leaving the company on my previous job as it is a great company but when I left IQE I felt relieved.
