      Interesting work but lacks formal training

      Pros

      Great teams, very knowledgable peers, solid HR team & competitive salary.

      Cons

      can be frustrating working along side managers that have worked the same way for 20+ years, lack of motivation to adapt to modern approaches.

      Changing and may not be for the better

      Pros

      Good work life balance for the construction industry. Don't have to travel very much. Get to work on a diverse range of projects with some great people.

      Cons

      Slowly losing small company vibe and family atmosphere. Becoming a large corporation who looks out for the bottom line and perception rather than its people. ISEC is pushing hard to grow their footprint and revenue and is currently at a crossroads where they are losing the benefits of working for a small company but have yet to gain the perks of working at a large top tier construction company. Lacking competitive compensation & bonuses, maternity/paternity leave, vehicle allowances, etc. Lately is seems like half my time is fighting through new levels of company bureaucracy and taking useless trainings telling me about my unconscious bias and equity and how afraid i should be of covid.
