Pros

You have full freedom to do whatever you wish in the office as everybody is as clueless as the owner who is never around to know what's going on in his company. Work life balance is hence rated maximum. The only reason to join is to know exactly how not to run a business.

Cons

Horrible management or should I say no management. Decision making is non-existing, it's a one man show hence everything is centralized, EVERYTHING has to go through the owner who seems to be not interested in growing the business at all and will take ages to get back to you on action plan. I felt I took more ownership and responsibility and was more concerned about the running of the business than he would ever be. He would indefinitely travel to India without informing and with almost zero communication with anyone. He is a headless chicken with absolutely no idea what he expects from the employee. Not a single employee there has a clue of what are the organisation goals, so noone is actually working towards anything. The payroll is outsourced to some anonymous person who would NEVER respond to your payment queries, you just keep sending reminders which probably get disappeared in the Black hole and we wait for a divine intervention to happen and get paid. There are limited PC's so you are expected to carry your own laptops, which due to their poor power connections are guaranteed to crash/freeze. The PC's are being ordered since more than 6 months now. I can go on but I assume you'd be smarter enough to get a decision on joining, by now.

Pros

There is only one advantage: If you really want to stay low and spend months doing nothing and just add numbers in your CV and after 2 - 3 years need a good switch, this is your destination.

Cons

1) Lack of leadership in top management. (Example: Apart from Chief technical Officer no one understands the Web Industry and how it works ) 2) Lack of personnel management. (Example: Top management doesn't know how to appreciate and retain a good & hard working employee . Whereas Business Analysts taking over 600k (approx) package deliver 1 simple project in 3 months. Developers take 5 months to deliver a simple APP. Designers take weeks to create a landing page. PHP developers take hours to install a wordpress. And no one takes leadership to look into it and fix it. One who tries to fix it is cornered politely by beautiful HR mgmt to resign. ) 3) Poor HR process management. (Example: HR management doesn't know who they are hiring, what are they hiring for, what kind of hiring can be the best for company. They simply copy and paste and hire!!) 4) Lack of technical knowledge in Business Analyst team. ( They don't know the diff between a homepage and a landing page. LOL More funny thing is due to such a poor management their ignorance and their lack of abilities are never surfaced and these employees think they are the masters of everything in IT) 5) Poor Promotions and Increments 6) CEO - (I saved this best for the last) - I really doubt if he at all has a business mind!!! I also doubt if he understands what we are doing here other than knowing "we are building websites and apps". A poor mentor, poor boss, has poor attitude towards employees, poor attitude towards clients and business. Note: I feel sad how few good talented people are getting wasted. And moreover I feel more bad about those clients who pay thousands of Pounds for such crap!!!
