Pros

There are many talented and brilliant people working at the company. Work produced is of a high standard (albeit often shamelessly derivative). A respected name in the industry, (although one with a renowned reputation for poor staff treatment.)

Cons

An incredibly top-heavy business structure, leading to a deeply unpleasant working environment with little respect for reasonable work/life balance. Upper management are the worst I have encountered at any agency. Often relying upon putting undue pressure on staff, whilst having very little knowledge or understanding of the disciplines of teams they are overseeing. This toxic work environment, understandably, leads to a high rate of staff turnover, which inturn, leads to further disruption. You don't leave Imagination, you survive it.

Pros

Some of the people working for the company were nice to work with. A couple of the people i worked with tried lots to help me when they had the time. They were great.

Cons

Nobody at the company gave me an introduction and nobody explained much to me. The manager was a non-existent leader who seemed to not have a clue what what going as he was never involved in our work day to day but talked a lot of nonsense. He always got my name wrong. Nobody ever gave me feedback on how I was doing and there was no senior person who was free to help me (i am a junior). I had a couple of days off due to mental health issues and a week after they let me go due to "budget reasons". (I heard they tried to hire an old freelance person after). The whole company thought they were a lot cooler and forward thinking than they actually are. Not a great environment to work for a junior. Everyones egos seemed very fragile. Nobody ever spoke the truth about things. Every conversation was whispers which I was never involved with.
