Pros

Mediocre paycheck, opportunity to work in many different fashion accessory design

Cons

Incompetent conflict-avoidant leaders who power trip on employees and make work environment difficult. They love to send blurry, very low res screenshots to underlings and tell them to play scavenger hunt for these files. There is no room for promotion or growth for talented designers. The only thanks given is more work and perhaps some credit. People are fake nice while playing the blame game. Too much personal chit chat made me very uncomfortable, as I don't align with coworkers' political views. I'm interested in getting paid for work, not being debated about my own religious/political views. Certain employees clearly never matured past high school. This place gives new meaning to 'coworkers are not your friends,' as most people here are eager to throw their fellow coworker under the bus. I don't appreciate being accused of not doing my work, when all the leaders were on the email chains.

Pros

The paycheck clears. That's about it.

Cons

Where do I begin. This company is a masterclass in how NOT to run a business. Management is an absolute disaster, disorganized, disconnected, and completely out of touch with the day-to-day realities of the people doing the actual work. Decisions are made on ego, not strategy, and if you dare to push back with a logical point of view, you will be sidelined. The hiring process for management is a joke. There is zero vetting of new leaders brought in from the outside. People are dropped into senior roles with no relevant experience on managing business let alone PEOPLE! The result is a trickle-down chaos that the rest of the team is left to clean up quietly, without recognition or compensation. Speaking of compensation don't expect a raise. Ever!!!!! You can exceed every target, go above and beyond for years, and watch your salary flatline while the cost of living in New York climbs. When you raise the issue, you're met with vague promises & non answers. Meanwhile, loyalty means nothing here. The lack of diversity is glaring and deeply uncomfortable. There is no meaningful effort to build an inclusive environment not in hiring, not in promotion, not in culture! Mentorship is nonexistent. If you are early in your career and hoping to learn and grow, look elsewhere. Senior leaders are too busy protecting their own positions to invest in the people below them. There is no structured development, no sponsorship, and no pathway to advancement. And that brings me to the biggest issue this company openly rewards yes people. Employees with little to no experience who simply nod along and validate bad decisions are fast-tracked into management. Meanwhile, high performers who bring real expertise, challenge the status quo, and drive results are passed over, overlooked, and eventually pushed out. capability is a threat here, compliance is a currency.

Pros

Decent benefits compared to similar companies. Some talented coworkers who are genuinely trying to do good work despite the environment.

Cons

Management rewards mediocrity over competence. The easiest way to “succeed” here is to stay quiet, avoid initiative, and agree with leadership at all costs. High performers burn out quickly or leave, while those who play politics tend to last the longest. There is little strategic direction, frequent reactive decision-making, and a noticeable disconnect between leadership and day-to-day reality. Feedback from employees is not taken seriously unless it aligns with existing narratives. Morale continues to decline as experienced employees exit and are replaced without addressing the underlying issues. The company feels like it is slowly losing talent, trust, and momentum.
