Pros

Working from home was a pro

Cons

The company wants you glued to your seat taking calls back to back. Their attendance policy is unethical. If you call off because you’re in the hospital, even with documentation, it counts against you. You have to make up time you request off or it counts against you. So if you want to take a week off for vacation and don’t have vacation time accrued, you must make up the week’s worth of hours. The training is terrible. They had us on the phones into our second day of training. I felt very unprepared when I got on the phones for the first time. They didn’t have any formal on boarding either. You kinda have to do all that on your own. They did go over their attendance policy at the end of the week. That’s about all we got from HR during training. Also this is not the type of job to have if you’re trying to work from home while taking care of kids. I disclosed that’s what I’d be doing in the interview, and I was told by the recruiter the company is flexible and that I wouldn’t be glued to my seat. However, I was mislead. You have to be taking calls (back to back) unless you’re on break. You can’t hold the phones up in between calls. They know when you’re on a call, when you’re idle, and when you’re finishing up work from a call (and they watch that tune carefully). I would stay far away from this place. If given the proper flexibility, I know I could make hundreds of calls in a shift while taking care of my kid.

Pros

Everything was fine from 2014 - 2020, then that's it.

Cons

Low pay raises - you may only get a few cents raise a year due to messed up raise policy. I ended six years at $11.15 an hour. Owner has no care for employees and had started downsizing TLs, including his own co-founder. Letting programs run over owner as if they are boss... letting the program dictate who should be let go and not Incept. Backlashing against employees when the owner knows who is posting about the injustice and connected to me. Discriminates against those with Autism. Has no ADA - which is illegal to not have. No way to move up in the company unless you're really good friends with owner. Likes to hire outside the company for supervisory positions instead of hiring within - which shows lack of confidence in any CME that's been hired in. Tax issues where you'll always owe the IRS because something in their system is wrong and they won't investigate upon checking.
