      Brilliant People and Interesting Technical Projects

      Pros

      - Incredibly talented group of people who were great to work with - You don't work on "button-tuning" projects, but projects that get deployed and make an impact, which is really cool - Interesting technical challenges - Disrupting (and I mean REALLY disrupting) an outdated industry - You can feel comfortable walking up to any C-level exec if you have any issues or questions

      Cons

      - Limited mentorship (since the company is small, there aren't many senior engineers or "manager" types that can invest in helping you design a clear career path) - Fast-paced environment, which can be a pro or con

      Smart People and Compelling Products

      Pros

      - Incredibly intelligent people who are passionate about their work and Index - Disruptive product that answers a specific problem better than any one else - Leadership is transparent and provides opportunities for the team to learn about the business - Pretty fun office environment- its like a big family

      Cons

      Normal growing pains for any typical start-up. Where I think its great that you get to where so many different hats, it can sometimes be a little overwhelming.
