Pros

Many of the Indivisible groups and staff organizers are truly incredible people and wonderful to work with. It's inspiring to see volunteers and organizers who are so visionary and dedicated to change. Most of these great people don't make it more than a couple of years.

Cons

The executive leadership at Indivisible is toxic. Racism and classism are huge internal problems that leadership refuses to acknowledge. They are contentious with both the union and any staff members who care about addressing equity in the work place. Involvement in internal equity working groups will blacklist you from promotion. One of the co-presidents has a history of screaming at his assistants and people are afraid of his temper. I could keep going, but I think you get the idea.

Pros

get to work with hundreds of grassroots leaders all over the country, do some good work

Cons

Leadership is a friends club who prioritize immediate opportunities to get publicity and build clout rather than invest in legitimate long-term organizing strategies. They rarely listen to the needs of grassroots groups who made them relevant to begin with or to the organizers who work directly with those groups.
