Pros

Exposure to SOC technologies and beginner cybersecurity concepts

Cons

They take advantage of you being young and fresh out of school. They know you won't stand up for yourself if it's one of your first jobs. They pay minimum but the job is supposedly so important that it's mission critical for some clients. They have conflicting priorities and managers can't make up their minds as to who is right or who has more authority. No benefits.

Pros

Great opportunity to get your foot in the water and learn a vast array of IT solutions and technologies, open to working from home, certificate reimbursement. You’ll be thrown in many situations where you have no other option but to figure it out. Good health insurance. Monetary Incentives are offered for achieving certifications beneficial to the organization

Cons

Job title is a bit misleading, not as focused on security as one might expect. You will be micromanaged. Pay is below industry average. Poor training. Lack of knowledge. Poor security standards and Unorganized. Employees come and go, they will try to pay you as little as possible no matter how much value you bring. Lack of care for customer security
