Working from home is a bonus but that's about it.

The two inviduals heading up the AI & IoT marketing team have set up a toxic working environment. All feedback is negative, none of it is constructive. It has led to everyone in their team not being able to take any initiative and has beaten any away any creativity. As a result, the scope for personal growth and development is non-existent. The sales teams constantly bombard the marketing team to send out GDPR non-compliant emails to boost their leads. To top this off, the team is structured in a way that it is constantly under resourced. All these negatives mean that the tenure is no more that a year so no direction is able to be built. When I left, there was no thank you, or so much as a card after 3+ years of working there showing a complete lack of respect and regard for their team members. The bonus is a carrot to get you through the door but the targets are so high you're lucky to get any bonuses.

Pros
Everyone is super friendly, very few toxic people. Manageable work load and in off season very little to do.
Cons
Poor money and no opportunity for progression. No Senior specialist. Deny opportunity for promotion even if acknowledged that you are at that level. Flat heirachy. Low level customer success. More customer support then success. If you want an easy life and money and career doesn't fuss you then would recommend if not would search elsewhere.

My line manager, senior colleague and colleagues from the research analysts team. Good bunch of people but not all!
Cons
Ridiculous low pay, HR not being fair and transparent. People leaving the business because they are not treated fairly. This organisation is a joke and if you expect a salary increase hold tight onto your chair, bear in mind their status quo pretends to be as caring and treating fairly to its employees which is a whole lie.

Good social scene, always people in the office, friendly environment. My manager is very nice and I have regular contact with more senior staff.
Cons
Hard to find the right person when you have a question. The internal website is a bit of a mess and the company is so big it's difficult to find the information that actually applies to you. Also the slowest website in the universe.
