Walking on Eggshells

Pros

Benefits were good, 401k program and their health protocols were excellent. Very compliance oriented company. Entry level position allowing opportunities to obtain your series 7 & 63 licenses.

Cons

Management lacks consistency and favors a 'relax' culture. Some were kept on track with their performance while others can do minimum work and still get promoted. Felt like I was doing a two person job with no appreciation, guidance or substance from my partner. I was walking on Eggshells everyday at work with the level of hostility and aggression from a person who has limited knowledge of the product.

Pros

Everyone else wants to quit too, and seemingly everyone else is quitting. The 3rd best structured product company to work for in Delray Beach.

Cons

Literally everything, culture, compensation, benefits, advancement opportunities. Honestly, cannot think of anything good to say about this company. They act like they do you a favor by even paying you -- while simultaneously the senior managers have heavily inflated salaries and add no value to any directives.

Pros

Matching 401k. A few individuals who are great at their jobs and make work barely bareable. Fully remote.

Cons

Not much is shared about company performance. Too many meetings. No team bonding/building events. Pay disparities and "competitive" pay that is below market. Special treatment for certain individuals. No clear career paths. Employee surveys sent out to collect feedback for nothing. Feedback is neither appreciated nor given. Weak tech leadership. Inexperienced management who desperately needs training. No recognition is given to people who deserve it. Work life balance can be a hit or miss, usually a miss. No vision or strategy across the company and individual teams. The only designer who did too much left so there is no more design function within Tech. Engineering teams are constantly behind on deliverables. Projects are constantly rolling every quarter. Most of Product avoids doing their actual jobs and rely on everyone else to do their jobs for them - they also don't provide clear requirements and don't know the statuses of their projects. Unfortunately, can't see myself here for much longer.
