      Horrible Place

      Pros

      - Great location - Switzerland is wonderful and a great place to live - Nothing about the school is a pro

      Cons

      - Disgusting work environment - Management has no educational experience - The salary is far below even the Swiss median wage - You can be fired at a moments notice - Many teachers are not even qualified, and yet are supposedly preparing students for external exams - Bullying of teachers by senior management happens on a regular basis - Awful place to work

      This is not a school it's a business. Management spend more time getting their pockets filled under the table and their face with filler, there is no time for child care, staff support, or creating a successful school.

      Pros

      Rosenberg is quite different and has its own renumeration structure. In their standard package, roughly 40% of the year is time-off so comparing salaries to other schools is like comparing pears to apples. Teachers top-up their pay by teaching extra-curricular activities and for taking responsibilities in their departments and working for a few additional weeks in summer (10 weeks break!). Taking all of this into consideration, salaries match or exceed those of other schools. This is an outstanding school and I can only recommend it. If you work hard your salary is easily equivalent to Swiss standards, you just have to be willing to go the extra mile, something that sadly got lost in my profession.
