      Pros

      Honestly the canteen was the only good thing

      Cons

      Treat new staff unfairly and constantly hound and monitor with ridiculous rules. Often witnessed them bully and harass none English workers and essentially bully them because they knew they didn’t want to stand up to a big firm!

      Pros

      Job was easy enough. There were some great people there.

      Cons

      Expect too much from too little training. Parent company in USA (ITW) too hands on and restrictive. Will find a way to get rid of you if you don’t fit in with their way. Too many meetings.

      Pros

      Technical expertise, world leaders, a lot of effort in communicating with employees, award winners of "Investors in People", training provided, personal growth encouraged, good benefits, staff restaurant on site. Management understands people.

      Cons

      The building needs refurbishment and modernisation, the environment is not very appealing, cleaners are not doing a good job and are left unsupervised, food at the canteen could be a little healthier and slightly larger portions. Some senior managers have favourites for tasks, but this is not widespread throughout the company and could happen in any company.
