Pros

- Facility looks nice and good crew that tries to keep it that way - Ability to hire good people, although they can't keep them (Don't be fooled)

Cons

- Very few (if any) good managers, especially at the executive level - Long time employees have been promoted past the point of their incompetence - Dishonest and unethical behavior is allowed and even enabled by executive management - In many areas employees are not valued and work really hard while the management team reaps all the benefits - Work-life balance is non-existent in some areas - Management spends more time with in-fighting and protecting themselves than trying to do the right thing and grow the business - Limited processes that aren't actually followed, employees have to work in an ad hoc environment and are then blamed if things go wrong

The struggle is real at ID

Pros

Met and worked with some great industry veterans. A great educational budget allows for trips to conferences and resources for learning new skills. Pretty solid benefits, but the healthcare constantly changes since HR is always after the lowest rates.

Cons

Plenty of of incompetent management/employees on tenure, they are not going anywhere. Terrible amateur marketing department. Any time there is a financial setback, employees are laid-off as a group and escorted out of the building. I've witnessed this several times, and always without warning. Also, google the former ceo Harry Martin Jr to truly understand why this company is struggling.

Pros

Good monetary compensation, good leave policy

Cons

The company is unreasonably stingy in terms of benefits - short term disability pay out is a joke (an issue for employees who fall ill or go on maternity leave), 401K contribution is minimal and not competitive, health insurance coverage is pretty lousy. There is little to no opportunity for upward mobility. Management appears to be stuck in their ways.
