Great Company for Part Timing

Great location and nice place to work. It was awesome to get to tutor Maths while in Vietnam teaching English as a second language.

Cons

I wouldn’t recommend doing this full time unless you get a full time contract. Teaching English will earn you more consistently as students cancel / things get moved around.

Thank you for your review and I'm delighted that you enjoyed tutoring Maths with our wonderful students. I appreciate your comments about contracts and we will look into that. Currently we offer guaranteed-hours, permanent contracts for tutors working 3 - 5 days a week. Our freelance contracts are only for tutors doing up to 10 hours / week. We do try to protect tutor hours with a strict cancellation policy in term-time, but it is still the case that due to our academic year there are more variations in our timetable than an ESL centre, and this can affect pay consistency. We know this can be frustrating and we're sorry it may not always be the best fit for everyone. We'll keep trying to find ways around it all the same!

I have worked at ITG for years and highly recommend it. Management are supportive and will help you every step of the way with relocating to Vietnam. The hours are great, and the salary is good. ITG is a brilliant option to tutor your specialist subject(s), whilst having the freedom to explore Vietnam.

Cons

Not a bad word to say.

Warm, friendly and supportive environment, making my work there a very enjoyable time. Perfect opportunity to live and work in Vietnam, an amazing country. ITG made it all easy to get a visa and work there stress free.

Cons

Inflexible holiday dates meant traveling further afield was restricted to preset holiday dates
