Pros

40-50% off employee discount; bonus program Decent employee discount! Monthly bonus available depending on sales

Cons

Poor corporate management; poor store management; no pay increases; excessive markup; commission based income; no sales or real incentives for customers; no marketing promotions from corporate office; no holiday pay; expensive medical benefits Intimacy cares about the almighty dollar and not much else. They talk about empowering women but they treat their employees (99% women) like garbage. Overworked and underpaid

Pros

There are none. The product selection is boring and expensive. No one does anything to make sure that they employee has a positive experience.

Cons

They don't value work/life balance. As an employee you are not empowered. Every decision is micro-managed. When the company was bought out, it brought in inexperienced, under-qualified management who refuses to listen to what customers want and empower the tenured and experienced employees to pursue those wishes in a sensible way. There is no reward system in place for doing a great job. There are no perks to the job, benefits are almost unaffordable by employees and it's just a miserable place.

Change in ownership was the downfall

Pros

Was a great job until the company was bought out. You do get to change lives and women's attitudes about their appearance! You help women with back, neck, and shoulder pain. Its an uplifting experience when your dealing with the customers!

Cons

Horrible management and lack of response and unwillingness to change or fix new or existing problems. Worked long hours-all weekends-most holidays- plus extended hours during holiday. Terrible raise structure or lack there of. Corporate likes to blame employees for any company failures. Only positive comes from the customers who's lives you change for the better. Not the company it used to be, the year I resigned 4 other employees of over 7+ years at the company all left within months of each other.
