Pros

They pay well and have an annual bonus. And if you live near the office then they have a great social calendar.

Cons

The company was initially great when I started, but it's become a stark reality that they have no concept of how to treat staff and how to help staff maintain an acceptable work life balance. You are shamed and made to feel like a failure if you don't work above contracted hrs, made to feel like you are the reason everything is going to hell in a handbasket. Management have no concept of responsibility to their staff, and instead claim all the glory, accuse you of doing nothing, and pretty much beat every bit of morale and motivation out of you then blame you for not being motivated. In my whole career in pensions I have never been made to feel the way I do at Isio and I can't see myself sticking around.

Pros

Friendly, Benefits are great, Salaries are in the middle, Office is lovely, They want to be a good employer

Cons

Straight in the door and you are left to your own devices as every person is so busy with teams being too small to accommodate proper support. Training is non existent- people have experience they bring with them but you need to give them some guidance on systems etc. Saying 'be pro-active and find the information yourself' is ridiculous as if you do spend any time doing that research and self training, your productivity is called into question. Every new start I know has practically drowned because of this. Hybrid hours so a lot of the time there is no face to face support available and trying to book any time in teams is difficult. They want to be a good employer but are failing due to lack of support leading to many issues with mental health within different teams and absences as a result that adds more work and pressure to the remaining staff. They're focusing too much on winning business and growing the company and not enough on staff and team support. Expected to work beyond core hours and called out for not being a team player for not doing it. People have families. We can't all be working until 10pm every night like some managers do and expect their team to do the same. No overtime payments so this is all at your own cost as the workload is so heavy and systems so bad eveything takes twice as long. Out of hours work is required to meet the targets and deadlines because there aren't enough staff, adequate training or robust systems. Very stressful way of working. I've heard of people working throughout the entire night due to short staff problems and then still working the next day.

Pros

- Better pay - if you work your contracted hours. - Warm team members

Cons

- Appears managers only recognise the negative in review process. - Regularly expected to work over contracted hours - unpaid - with little to no recognition. Therefore a poor work-life balance. Therefore stressful, a negative effect on mental health. - Training is haphazard; you are expected to know what you need training on. Are shown something quickly, expected to make your own notes in the meantime and then repeat with no mistakes.
