Pros

The vitality healthcare is quite good. I'm told the new office is quite nice. You can work from home most of the time.

Cons

You're going to be walking into a company thats being chopped up and repackaged and then re-branded ready to be sold on (Autovista Intelligence is the same company). Most of the knowledgeable staff have either been made redundant or have moved on. The future direction of the company relies on a delusional business model of selling information you could easily find on google free of charge. Its a European company so you have the inevitable power struggle between the offices. Projects are allowed to continue even when its obvious they have failed just to appease certain regional managers. All the top jobs go to former employees or friends of the CEO.

Pros

Not sure of any pros to working at ETG now. The healthcare scheme is good.

Cons

The CEO started positively but is now conspicuous by her absence. Management lie to employees. People are being made redundant by stealth. Unless you worked for Informa they have no interest in you - all the new jobs go to them. Check out LinkedIn to see how many of the senior management were part of Informa and they have no knowledge of the customer base.

Pros

In my experience of working for Autovista for the past 2 years, I have seen a lot of positive change. I feel the change initiatives have all been managed very well and I think the benefits to the company are evident, including a noticeable transformation of its culture. Some of the pros of working here are: * Very experienced senior management team with a clear vision of where they want to take the business and how to get there. They're clearly not afraid to make the difficult decisions needed to ensure the future success of the organisation. * Well-known in the market place and strong product portfolio; genuine focus on quality of data/products/services. * Flexible working model - location and hours are flexible, which means I can easily balance my personal/family obligations with my work responsibilities. * Extremely people-focused ethos, with an emphasis on development and learning (good internal training function), career progression, and very supportive people management style and HR practices. * Progressive and inclusive culture; focus on providing a really supportive environment where everyone is treated well and encouraged to strive to reach their potential. * Highly collaborative spirit, with loads of opportunity to work with and learn from colleagues across the Group. * Opportunities to have fun with colleagues (social and charitable events) - everyone seems very down-to-earth. * Good employee benefits, including private health insurance, pension, life assurance and employee assistance programme (in the UK). * They encourage and support charitable giving via Give As You Earn and many organised challenges and activities throughout the year to fundraise for the designated partner charity (UNICEF).

Cons

* The recent restructuring has inevitably been difficult for everyone involved but it has thankfully been on a relatively small scale and I think it has been managed as well as possible under the circumstances. * Working flexibly is great, but makes it harder to bond with colleagues when you don't see them all the time. But I just have to be more proactive about catching up with them when I am in the office and I have a lot of Skype contact with everyone too.
