Pros

Salary, Benefits, Flexibility, In office Bar

Cons

The company is struggling financially, to the point it cant pay its vendors- so getting parts and materials is a struggle. Rumor has it that payroll is a crapshoot on whether they can make it every week or not. Its own subsidiary companies who depend on it for Accounting services….cant perform their jobs the majority of the time because of the inability to get parts/material…due to bills not getting paid. PMs, sales people, installers, etc are embarrassed when they have to explain to the customer they cant do the job because daddy Marc didn’t pay his bills. The quality of the product going out the door is mediocre at best and 50% of the time requires adjustment or repair IN THE FIELD….which is much costlier than having to perform those tasks a second time in the manufacturing facility. They don’t seem to learn this lesson…….ever. Training for manufacturing/warehouse personnel is a joke at best which leads to subpar products. The only employees that are valued are those who suck up, drink the koolaid, yes men, and those who show loyalty to a bunch of egotistical and narcissistic leaders. Anything contrary to THEIR ideas, is grounds for dismissal. Leadership is a bunch of spoiled brats who were handed the keys to the kingdom by mommy and daddy. Finger pointing is their favorite pastime as there is ZERO accountability for anyone in management or leadership. According to them, there is nothing wrong with headcount being a revolving door of people. Even though each employee states the reason they are leaving are basically the same…..poor management, bad leadership, toxic workplace, empty promises, lies, lack of training, and finger pointing. Unfortunately, the owner sets the tone for this type of behavior and sees nothing wrong with it. Leadership is unprofessional, unorganized, egotistical, and narcissistic – nothing but a bunch of good ole boys reaping bonuses off the backs of the truly genuine and good people doing all the work. Recent events: the building is for sale…so that they can get out from underneath the cost of maintaining it….IT has been outsourced to a company that sold them some oceanfront property in Arizona. Most of the maintenance team was laid off. JRB is a sinking ship and everyone knows it…those that are sticking with it are just riding it out to watch this dumpster fire of a company ruin itself due to the inability of leadership to NOT keep making the same mistakes over….and over…..and over…. Pride and greed are killing them slowly….oh and so are overinflated salaries for leaders (and their worthless advisors) who cant seem to keep from tripping over their own self absorbed egos.
