I have been working at Jaeger full-time

    Pros

Good Location - Close to transport links
    Nice team I work with

    Cons

    Everything !

Lack of support, expect one person to do 3-4 different jobs. When the work does not get done it's you who gets the blame. Don't care that you are in the office late everyday. Lot of blame game, nobody that you can talk to about your problems as there is no HR employee in London and they are very hard to get in contact with. Stressed everyday.

    Advice to Management

Improve the systems as they are very slow and dated.
Hire more people so that we don't have to be stressed doing many different things as once

I worked at Jaeger full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Head Office location, normal working hours

    Cons

Salary, brand relevance, direction, leadership, lacking a reason to exist as a brand,

    Advice to Management

Invest in marketing, create stronger looks and an identity of Jaeger’s own rather than looking to competitors so much, treat workers better (salary/holiday/benefits), understand the customer, embrace the heritage without dogging the aesthetic down as ‘old’, hire consultants and experts in enabling a stronger vision for what and who the brand is, understand the fashion market better

I worked at Jaeger full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Central London location, near transport

    Cons

Terrible working atmosphere created by senior management, no attempt to motivate staff. No clear direction. Management change their minds frequently. No real career growth potential at any level

    Advice to Management

Listen to your team and pick a direction try to improve work conditions to motivate staff, unlikely to reestablish brand without doing so

I have been working at Jaeger full-time

    Pros

    Some nice people

The main office is nice and in a good location with good transport links.

    Cons

So disorganised a lack of collection stories, strategy and creative direction. The target audience and brand direction changes every week.

No one thinks about the bigger picture. Things are often rushed and left until last minute. This results in a waste of money and everything looks bad. There is no brand consistency.

A lot of people leave so there is always a high turnover of staff.

The buyers and merchandisers have far too much control over things that aren't their expertise. For instance marketing, graphic design and digital.

    Advice to Management

You need to high people who can look at brand strategy and who can look at the bigger picture.

You also need to decide on your target audience and if you ever want to appeal to 30-40 year olds.

    Advice to Management

Stop prioritising what the merch want and start thinking digitally

I worked at Jaeger full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is no pros sorry. It says you get 28 days holiday. But everywhere dose that now. No sick pay sorry if you get unwell.

    Cons

where to start. I don't know if it's just my store or it's all over, but the manger thinks you know everything right away you get very poor training if you can call it that. When you ask about something she says you should know it sorry but if you give no training and when I ask you, you can't be pissed off about it. The way they talk to you is so rude. go to HR about it right away if you do work there or note it all down as it will happen over and over. I think I was only there to find cover for the manger to go on hoailday. There so much more but it will be a book.

    Advice to Management

Manger be nice to your staff and give good training. Because you have work there for years dose not mean everyone knows it all right away.
