Pros

provide food some coworkers were friendly

Cons

Management was terrible. Upper management especially - one of them kept hitting on female employees and all made no effort to learn employees names. They don't say thank you. The hours are brutal during busy season and they make you work a ton of overtime - sometimes even over 12 hour shifts. All employees seem really depressed and many have admitted they hate working there. Regardless of all the work they ask you to do, you will be paid minimum wage even if you've received a relevant degree. Supervisor of jeweler's department yells at employees and is very rude with them when she is stressed, which is almost all the time. Also the training is really bad - they expect you to know everything, even when you haven't been told of certain deadlines or procedures and then get mad at you for not knowing everything after a few shifts. Very unprofessional management, I cannot stress this enough. Also the employees with seniority are very rude to new employees.

Pros

None, I don't see pros

Cons

Here is what my experience at Jewlr was like - I found the environment and culture to be very toxic and demotivating. There was a focus on blaming and pressurizing employees. - No culture or values to acknowledge the efforts of the team. - No compensation is offered for extra hours, and they make the teamwork for extra hours frequently. No respect for off working hours. Work-related communication continues in off-hours. -Vacations days: No one in the company can take 3 weeks at once (no matter the circumstances -Very tedious micro management style -Very poor work-life balance

Pros

The team I worked with was great

Cons

They don't care about their employees, the CEO is awful and dosent know what he's doing. He sticks his head into everything even though when dosent have any experience in that department. There is no process in this company and even when you try to create it, you constantly get push back because people don't want to change their ways even if it will benefit everyone in the company. They pretty much make office employees work in the factory during busy months without extra pay instead of hiring seasonal factory employees. Also there is no room for growth in the company. Honestly by the looks of it, the company will probably be going under within the year since their sales have gone down so much
