Pros

Kasikorn keeps everybody including those who perform poorly without any policy on laying off. If you haven't done anything wrong e.g. committing a crime or being a fraud, you keep your job quite safe.

Cons

Do negotiate your package hard. I mean it. HR usually gives you a package according to the ranking of your school. If you have a previous working history and you graduate from a very high-ranked school, they will ask about your salary from your ex-firm and come up with the lower between two methods of computing your starting salary. But this is negotiable. Sometimes if you graduate from a top-ranked school but from non-traditional countries( not from the UK or US ). Your salary will be ridiculously low because HRs may not recognize your university. Lots of cons coming from pros. If you're one of the back-office guys, you don't need to be proactive or be so motivated to thrive in this organization. You just wait for the so-called conservative structure/culture to push you to a higher position, meaning a promotion for being loyal to the company for some given amount of time. I really have no idea why some people could go to those high positions with those levels of competencies. The model that can fit this circumstance should be only that people can grow as time goes and don't have to improve themselves much. Seniority is the worse part. They let you do lots of work because you are one of their underlings. If your boss does not pay much attention about your workload, you should quit. And whenever it comes to confrontation, they really think that senior people can do anything without having the underlings being offended.

Pros

Huge budget to use in any project, space to learn. Strong reputation on brand. Very good welfare for management - operation. A lot of talent.

Cons

They have worst performance management system, no tracking during the year, no clear expectation or competencies development goal, lack of communication. They still using force ranking that forced by bias leader who have no any information about details of work. Culture - Living in old fashion management, not empowering people and focus on internal politic not result of the work. Abuse and fear - based organization, Silo based and still far away from agile culture. Leader, there are some good person but a lot of hypocrite one. Authoritarian who use personal judgment based on their own feeling. Some still doesn’t know how to search picture in google.
