      Pros

      Very organised; staff and management work very well together. Small class sizes. Reasonably motivated students. Great place to apply CELTA knowledge and. Teachers trusted to deliver quality lessons, but support is readily available. Brilliant holidays.

      Cons

      Occasional late finish. Traffic in Surabaya can be annoying. The humidity can be frustrating. Some older teenagers lack motivation.

      Pros

      11 week terms enable you to get to know students well and build relationships with them. In house training and workshops provided. Very few weekend events perhaps two or three per year). Generous PAID holidays-around 8 weeks per year. Management are present and approachable. Accommodation and medical cover provided. Higher salary than similar jobs in Indonesia (Base salary 15million Rupiah) with very few expenses - unless you fancy popping to Bali every weekend (only a 45 minute flight!)

      Cons

      Surabaya can take some getting used to. Few opportunities to walk anywhere.
