work from home, competitive salary (for some positions)
Cons
extremely tight with money, scruitinize everything, no bonus even when earned, they stopped matching 401K, very shortsided, not willing to take risks, family owned - but only the family benefits from that
PTO, scheduling for personal reasons is flexible, great middle management
Cons
No raises in years. No bonus program to anyone on hourly. Long timers get $25-$50 gift card for their service. Father’s Day gift was 25% off on KGPCo merchandise. Wow. Execs only want more money and they WILL get by any means necessary.
Good benefits
Lots of Upfront PTO and holidays off
Good Coworkers and a good culture.
Cons
Lots of weird decisions... If the company wasn't making much money, management would ask that we burn through our PTO instead of working so it wouldn't cost them more.
About a week before one of my team members (including myself) were laid off, our directory entered the room and told us that we did not have to worry about our jobs and there was "NO WAY" we would get fired.
We were expected to work without pay in several instances to get a job done on time.
They do hire some decent people but not at any higher rate than other companies.
Cons
Cultural competency is very low. Management is not properly trained. They waste a lot of money on pretending to educate their staff while major issues abound.
