Pros

Used to be a good place to work.

Cons

Upper management sets unreasonable goals. Presumably because bonuses are tied to achieving these impossible goals. No raises given to anybody. Management will tell you they hire from within or promote people, but they don’t.

The Textbook Definition of a Toxic Workplace,

Pros

A lot of good people to work with at KORE across all the various departments. There are also a handful of people who go to tremendous lengths to organize company-wide events, which have been some of the most enjoyable parts of working there. The sarcastic optimism is also quite spectacular!

Cons

Management and leadership have perfected the LDD (Lie, Deny, Deflect) Management style, above all else. In some cases, management focused further on performative management techniques and strategies as opposed to technical expertise and functional competency. Nepotism and favoritism are also blatantly rampant, and the culture is at best one of complete apathy. The amount of frustration stemming from continual cutting of resources, burnout, talent attrition all compounded on the desire many lack to go to the office on a daily basis. This is an environment of extreme disorganization and lackluster collaboration and communication between departments, and with the favoritism that permeates throughout the building, it is impossible to have any recourse with a manager being complicit in wrongdoing - even if it is of extreme organizational detriment to the company. As long as you're friendly with senior leadership, have at it any way you'd like! The company in it's current configuration is by and large, not set up for long-term success. There are many minimalistic changes that could improve organizational efficiency and reduce waste tenfold had two members of the senior leadership team not consolidated their power the way they have and shut down any sort of feedback or criticism of organizational process along the way. My department was not alone in being chronically understaffed, and one of the main drivers of my departure included being promised for months on end that help was on the way, while in the meantime important resources to assist me in doing my job effectively were cut/turned off.

Great Company, However

Pros

Great Company. Great management. Great Co-workers

Cons

A particular member of management should be steered clear of. If you have the audacity to not be intimidated by him, you may well lose your job. He should be removed from the company. Or at the very least from his position. I witnessed a very good employee be terminated without cause due to this persons personal vendetta. Sadly, HR went along with it.
