Pros
The healthcare is some of the best in the state but the deductible is high. There is also an onsite clinic, but it is hard to schedule for same day, even for emergencies. Your coworkers are nice.
Cons
There is no future prospects here. At least not as a design engineer. Everyone that is still there is pretty much stuck there. Do not come here, if you want a promising career in designing, because you do not design anything. There is no training, but they expect you to perform to the standards of the Japan company. The only assistance you have are from your coworkers, but that is if they are not busy with their own work. You get a budget computer that can barely run excel. No Laptops, despite the fact that nearly every other department has one. They will pile projects onto you and so you will have to find creative ways to keep up a home life, especially if you have a family. You don't get any parental leave if you are a father and just had a kid, so save up that your PTO. They will not invest in you at all, so don't expect even the basics of training that OSHA doesn't make them do. That means you will pick up no valuable transferable skills. They aren't preparing for the future, so the future prospects of the company is also poor.
