      Dishonest, unfair, disrespectful management team + company integrity

      Pros

      fellow team members were awesome, stuck together, dedicated - met unrealistic deadlines great teamwork, decent pay

      Cons

      Aside from Kentz breaking the Labour Laws by bringing in unqualified irishmen to supervise the team of Canadians, but are not capable to fulfill their role. The biggest disappointment would be when commissioning started, the electricians that championed the project got laid off and the incompetent irishmen left to finish up.

      Pros

      Good benefits: free food and drinks, free accomodation, free laundry, transportation provided, company with unlimited load provided, and no monthly salary delays.

      Cons

      Poor management commitment; no yearly bonuses; no R&R; not much benefited with Class C health cards provided; unfair salary package for co-employees of the same department; superintendents not knowledgeable on their craft , company just wasting money with their high salaries.

      When The old boys are shuffled along

      Pros

      There is very little I can say in support of Kentz, once a strong company it is experiencing what can only be described as a decaying entity.

      Cons

      As SNC Lavalin takes over, the old boys who served for years in Kentz are being shuffled to lesser roles in preparation to the new management. It was clear to me that a couple of these "Old boys" were extremely disgruntled and made it clear that "they hoped SNC would fail". It was also clear to me that they were doing what they could to assist in that failure.
