Pros

- Great colleagues - Work flexibility

Cons

- No job security. They go through stages of mass hiring and then mass firing (3 layoffs in 3 years). Everyone is expendable apart from a select few. - Lack of leadership. A lot of "higher ups" who do a lot of talking and not a lot of doing. Strategy changes often due lack of direction and not allowing enough time for results. Leaders that don't listen, they were warned multiple times about project commitments and unsustainable scaling. - Overworked and underpaid. Many people at the lower end of the totem pole receive the work of multiple roles, even work outside of their department (sorry, "circle"). This company follows a clear hierarchical system but claims it follows holocracy, which seems to be used in a way to give people more accountabilities outside of their role without additional pay. - No career progression. A year ago they were working on a career framework, which was seemingly abandoned as there is no career path here. - Lack of transparency. They often say they promote a culture that is "open, honest, and transparent", but I, and I know many others, disagree. So many things were swept under the rug to stop people from asking for further information. - Sheer incompetence. The amount of easily avoidable blunders made by leadership, HR, and finance was pretty astounding. The incompetencies don't even surprise anyone anymore (failed projects, many salary issues, sending confidential information to employees).

Probably ok if you make it into inner circle

Pros

Some good people and great potential in the product

Cons

Narcissistic leadership, driven fully by their own hero complexes. Consistent rewarding and promotion of inept inner circle, while they manage to continue burning through masses of budget and do not think about the impact on the less senior team. Constantly introducing trips abroad for leadership and whole company, but really need to change leadership to make a difference and actually achieve anything other than smoke and mirrors with this product
