Pros

Friendliest office culture I've ever been part of. Talented and caring coworkers, excellent rapport with clients, and great product.

Cons

Laughably low salaries and poor benefits from the start. Worse, when the COVID layoffs inevitably came, leadership cut dozens of employees off with no notice, no conversations with leadership, no instructions on how to retrieve belongings during a pandemic, no chance to pass projects to coworkers. Veterans with five, ten, fifteen years of tenure dropped without apology or explanation. Leadership was so hands-off several employees discovered they'd been laid off when they were unable to log in, or had the news broken by their own coworkers. There are responsible ways to conduct layoffs, and then there was this: utter and inhumane mismanagement.

Pros

The schedule was very flexible and the work life balance was good. Colleagues were great and helpful. The products were industry leading and innovative. All the pieces were there to create a great company.

Cons

Individuals were placed in leadership positions and were lacking the skills to lead. For a tech company the decision process was glacial. Leadership played favorites among the different products and ignored others. There really needed to be professional development for a large part of senior leadership as they lacked the skills to be effective leaders. HR was not up to the task of managing all of the employees that made up the different cultures of the different products. There was very little opportunity for advancement if you didn’t fit in with the club of leadership that came from one product. Often decisions were handed down without any understanding of how they would impact the different products or customers. Layoffs were poorly handled and employees were not treated well. Would hate to see this company disappear due to Covid-19, poor leadership, debt, and lack of investment.

Pros

I loved working at Patron to continue to elevate the live entertainment industry. Amazing employees to work with and great working environment.

Cons

Besides the entire live event industry collapsing due to COVID after surviving an initial layoff, the second round was handled poorly. They laid off a massive amount of employees with out any notice or severance package.
