Would not recommend to my worst enemy
Pros
- The people, not management but the regular employees - we always seemed to find a way to stick together and laugh at the ridiculousness that was management policies - benefits - have some decent benefits like private healthcare, gym allowance etc
Cons
- Company culture - this is company that is stuck in the past in many ways for example: the systems used on a daily basis, the management structure and style, the business model itself. For this reason doing your job is impossible if you are someone who want to do things in a more streamlined manner. The company missed the boat when it came to modernising now are too broke to do anything about it. - The company is broke - they try and hide it but it is very obvious to every employee that they are running out of money and what this means to staff is corner cutting, job risk and money saving schemes. The MD likes to remind you that your job might not be safe but then pretends he has a hard time over letting people go. They moved the entire office to a dingy basement to cut corners. - The managing director and rest of higher management - it is very clear they are there to make the company as profitable as possible so they can cut a nice cheque when the company goes under. you get treated like a number by the MD and he will frequently remind you of that.
