Pros

1. Good only if you are a fresher & join in Exports. You can make many international trips which will help you as you go ahead in future. Don't think to get in if you are hired for any other role. An absolute NO. If you do, he will treat you and his dog same (wait..i think the dog gets treated better)

Cons

1. Boss is too arrogant and thinks of himself to be the supreme. You cant work under such guy. 2. Boss would treat office as his home were he will get drunk everyday post 7pm and even abuse you and the customers. His son gets his dog to work !!!! 3. There is no culture and learning involved. No HR. Just 2 ladies who handle everything including the boss. 4. Be ready to pay in cash every time you are late then 2 minutes in reaching office. 5. You have to reach office on time but can't leave until the boss allows you to. 6. Time is tracked for all your activities like going out for lunch n all.

Pros

no pros, seriously, none. on pros at all

Cons

> Boss is a megalomaniac, he thinks he knows a lot. Has a bad reputation in the pen market. >He undercuts product prices and has survived all these days by doing just that.. >Absolutely no HR policies in place, if the boss does not like the way you look he can fire you. >He never has distributors available in the market to sell his products because no one likes to deal with him so he dumps his products in the market by undercutting prices. > Export division is good, boys get to go to different countries and is run properly because that is this boss's bread and butter so he behaves when it comes to exports. He is himself not comfortable selling in Mumbai market because everyone there knows his real face. He wants to sell his products to big cash and carry companies and hates the dealer - distributor channel sales model altogether. Mr CEO or any of your sycophants reading this review get it straight that this attitude does not work usually in Indian markets. You may fire your employees if you are frustrated by this but that does not change the reality. > You are good if you are a YES man, otherwise you are shown the door. >He literally exploits his front line sales staff. They have big areas to cover on feet, no food bills paid, . They don't get paid if they don't meet the ever changing ridiculous target set by the Boss. Most of them are poor boys who do not have any alternative other than begging probably. This boss lives on their "blood". >Few sycophant employees encouraged by the boss to gain brownie points and keep their jobs secure.

Thank you for sharing your experience here. I would like to address a few points on behalf of Lexi HR. Firstly, no company would fire a worthy match on a whim. The process of hiring is too intensive and time consuming to be taken lightly. Secondly, we encourage applicants to share their views on the selection process to improve upon the same. There is no compulsion for employees to write the same. Thirdly, Package changes happen only in rare, one off cases, where we find the applicant's skill-set not matching the levels we intended to hire at. Our No-disturbance policy, between 10 am to 1 pm, every weekday, has met with great enthusiasm and enhanced productivity levels among employees. We intend to continue with the same. I wish you luck for your future engagements.
