      Pros

      The company culture has made me feel welcomed, fulfilled, and engaged. You will find many very passionate people here. Their mission is noble, and the projects are impactful. It's approaching being fully Employee-Owned, which presents good options for stock ownership for employees that stick around until retirement.

      Cons

      A company the size of LimnoTech really values ability to work independently, be a self-started, and leverage high amounts of initiative. Project work in consulting such as this is limited to the connections that the employees themselves can obtain and maintain, or have historical connections with. This may also be a feature inherent to LimnoTech's size as well.

      Pros

      LimnoTech cares about the quality of its work, and is even willing to sacrifice profit to ensure that clients receive a quality product. They care about whether employees feel satisfied. And if you aren't satisfied, they often will go out of their way to try to make something work. They hire smart people and are willing to change when it makes sense. They give their employees flexibility to help create their own destiny.

      Cons

      They are conservative. So it can take a lot of effort to convince them to change. And it takes hard work to create quality products, so if employees aren't willing to spend the extra time or can't keep up, this is not the place for them. So in some ways, we don't represent as diverse a working environment as a larger firm that can accomodate all different types of workers.

      100% Employee owned, ESOP; Many different roles and responsibilities possible for each individual; Work is very meaningful, company values are aligned

      Cons

      Low development of training for new staff with little experience; individual responsibility for self-learning and self-management is critical and can be challenging to perform in addition to the highly technical job.
