      Pros

      Fun and friendly colleagues, with collaborative open-door culture. Management reasonably invests in and cares about their staff. Company has an interesting mission even tho products have hyped potential. Leadership is capable but still learning the ropes to see around corners and follow their own success formula.

      Cons

      There are excessive distractions with slow or bogus agility. Non-technical accomplishments are more visibly celebrated. Company has many thinkers with few actual doers, so advancement in these roles is limited. Overall, company is great for someone coming out of school to experience startup dynamics. Not so much if you want to use your expertise to make a positive impact in the organization or earn your career growth.

      Pros

      Local Logic is a great place to work! The projects are varied and challenging, and also meaningful, if you're into cities. The company is small enough that you can wear a few different hats, but big enough to have some structure. My co-workers are smart and reasonable; they do good work, but aren't intense about it, and realize that there's a balance between doing things well and getting them done. Management is generally quick to recognize and deal with problems with team dynamics (e.g. making sure everyone's rowing in the same direction). Work-life balance is excellent, with half-day Fridays, unlimited paid vacation (within reason), and a hybrid remote/in-office policy.

      Cons

      Senior leadership could be more present and better at showing the bigger picture / company direction. The company has too many products to support for its size. Teams can be a bit siloed at times. Need to be better about creating and enforcing internal deadlines.
