Pros

Downtown Location, Great Access to LRT, Snacks & Coffee provided

Cons

This is a 4 year old Startup, still milking the "Startup" Cow. The CEO and CTO don't know how to manage people or clients. The Company is cheap, wages are not par with other competitors, you constantly hear talk of how everything is too expensive from the CEO. The CEO and CTO lie to their staff and their clients. They pretend to be other people to sell the products to whoever has the money. They are driven by greed and fame. They do not care about people and will fire you without cause. Often they will wait until the end of the day after most people have left and dismiss you as though you are nothing. If you ever give notice to leave they will not honor your notice, they just dismiss you and then refer to you as a "Mistake they made" during weekly meetings. The CEO and CTO are Racially Bias and Gender Bias, They prefer men and They prefer those men to be East Indian. Women are treated like dirt. They hire mostly family and friends as staff. There is No job stability and no job recognition. As an employee, you are expected to work anytime as needed. This could mean taking calls at 3am to working 10 hours overtime without getting paid for it. This company has no legal team whatsoever and lie to clients about the legal team they have. This company traps clients into long term deals for as much money as they can get from them so that when the clients are dissatisfied with their services have to pay out their contractual obligations. Support is disgraceful. Many promises are given to employees and clients that the CEO and CTO do not follow through on. Within the last six months an amazing sales VP was fired by the CEO and blamed for lack of sales to the board. After this happened almost all of the staff left, including myself because she was the only person who made the team stick together, and made the environment tolerable. The CEO and CTO operate like this with everything. It's always a blame game, The board is blamed as the cause for everything to the staff. The staff is used to blame problems to the board. The CEO and CTO have not accepted responsibility for anything. Because of the CEO and CTOs management the company has now gained themselves a horrible reputation in Edmonton, AB, Canada and are now planning to flee to Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Pros

No pros as such. Company is not growing at all. They fired the people who were doing something good.

Cons

1. Founders lack basic skills to run a company. 2. They ran away from Edmonton due to bad reputation. 3. Experienced developers from India are full of politics. They just know how to save their job. Have seen lot of talented people got fired because of office politics. 4. Company has no vision. Its running like a service company. 5. They were not able to raise the next round because of low quality product that they delivering. 6. No job security. You can be fired at any point of time. 7. Salaries never on time. 8. No innovation from their side. They are just copying their competitors. 9. Most of the positive reviews on Glassdoor are done by HR team. 10. Don't ever think about joining this company. Its a waste of time and energy. 11. Company is only good for relatives.
