Most incompetent and dire company I’ve ever worked for
Pros
Virtually non existent / did meet some great fellow shoppers!
Cons
Inexperienced management incapable of knowing how to successfully run a team and embed positive culture in the office Management discourage staff from talking to one another - even down to discussing their work and asking colleagues for advice. Management refrain from face to face meetings, taking preference to messaging you one bank of desks away through Slack Consistent conflicting information on how to excel in your role and what metrics to focus on - one morning agreed to focus on a certain metric and by the afternoon another manager had pulled me aside to ask why I was doing so and that I should focus on something else, and the following day scrutinised (separately) via Slack on why my performance was swayed to a particular metric. Classic example of their management approach Favouritism towards members of staff - leniences for working from home, sickness and productivity given to select members of staff Extra responsibilities given to favoured staff members not based on skill Internal promotions given without roles being publicly advertised Figures unavailable on demand, if trying to monitor your own performance you were told to wait until the end of the month to see your results - obviously too late.
