Pros

This was a good job to get some background mortgage knowledge and my foot in the door. Co-workers were great as well.

Cons

Management is a mess. So far in 2017 there have been at least 60 people laid off. Employees are quitting left and right. Drastic pay cuts have taken place. Low morale all around. I've never seen so many employees quit in a 60 day period. They also bribe employees with "swag" for good Glassdoor reviews. Something to keep in mind as you read all the "great" reviews and are considering employement here.

I appreciate the review and suggestions on your way out. Things are a bit rough here currently but we will survive the slowdown and current numbers show a good increase is already on the way. I wish we could have done a better job in your eyes at navigating these necessary changes. I will go on the record and for sure tell anyone reading that we have never bribed or given swag for a "great" review on glassdoor. We have told employees if they do review us we will give them swag. We always want honest reviews like this one.

Used to be decent but went downhill so fast

My direct manager was good but didn’t have any power to make the changes needed to help the company.

Cons

Pretty much everything. The benefits were awful, it would take more than a full paycheck for a crappy plan to cover my family. Training is basically non-existent. Such a negative place to work, way too much pressure is put on each department and everyone blames everyone. Toxic toxic place. All because the CEO and Sales manager have no clue what they are doing but act like they do. Greedy company, was horrible to work for, in all aspects.

I love working at this company. The work atmosphere is great. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. Easy to get time off. Work hard and you will succeed here. Plenty of opportunities for advancement. Senior management is great. They want you to succeed and will help you achieve.

Cons

Some days can get pretty busy and will require 10-12 hour work days.
