Pros

- only 1 positive point : good location

Cons

- BAD MANAGEMENT (the worst management I found) - DEDUCT YOUR SALARY; they do not allow the staffs any mistakes, the company will deduct your salary and commission (the most unlucky staff paid nearly 1000 pounds) - FULL OF LIES, the HR changed the employee contract term suddenly - OVERTIME; you had different duties every working days, you need to finished all before you leave. It is quite often to work overtime. HOWEVER, THERE IS NOT OVERTIME PAY - VERY HIGH employee turnover rate - NO flexible working hours - NO free medical care - NO paid sick leave (even after the probation) - BAD TRAINING; you need to use your own time to do revision; useless and meaningless exam - STRESSFUL working atmosphere; push you work in every minutes; you cannot stop and rest - The five stars comments must be FAKE!!! This company is FULL OF LIES and exploitation!!! Don’t waste your time in there.

Dear A I understand your frustration but it is very disappointing to see these false information you have provided. As advised previously, it is unlawful for any companies to deduct salaries without permission of the staff and no employment terms can be changed without agreement of both parties (employee and employer). All Lulutrip policies have been aligned with employment law. You have confirmed that you had wrongly advised our customers due to your negligence, even though you had gone through proper training. Your mistakes have led to financial loss to the company. The company has helped you to make the compensation and it is disappointing to see that you have mislead others. As the matter of fact, we do have many happy employees who have left genuine positive comments on Glassdoor. Glassdoor does not allow companies to fake comments nor to delete any negative comments. Nevertheless, I wish you all the best. I welcome you to contact me directly if you want to clarify any other doubts you have. Best regards, Serene Tan Human Resources Director

Pros

Co-workers are friendly, they are the only thing that keeps some people from leaving. Wish only the company can be the same.

Cons

Bad bad bad, everything is bad. No management. No company ethics. Owner tries to squeeze every penny from employees. They also make you work holidays and not provide extra pay. They count it as a regular work day.

Thank you for your comment. Our management and managers work very hard to build a friendly, strong and committed team which we are pleased to hear that you have been enjoying working with. We are sorry that you feel you feel there has been no management in placed. We have a relax environment in the office, open door policy with proper process and procedures in placed. As a Lulutrip employee, you have access to these information through the shared drive which you log into on a daily basis. Under UK employment law, bank holidays can be considered as a normal working day. We have explained clearly throughout the recruitment process that due to the nature of our business (we provide 24/7 sales support), our sales team will be required to work on bank holidays, where we compensate with annual leave or day off. This is a common practice in tourism and hospitality industry. We provide statutory leave entitlement which is aligned with UK employment law and we also provide additional "Thank You" gifts for sales team who works on special bank holidays. Job responsibilities are clearly stated in all employees' job description, which are also stated during our job advertisement during the recruitment process. Employees are also compensated according to market rate based on their job scopes. Please feel free to approach me directly if you require further understanding on working on bank holidays, our work ethics or any other support from the management. Pros

It is a happy working environment with amazingly friendly and helpful colleagues around in UK office. Even CEO , COO and HR director are working closely with different teams and are willing to take opinions and offer helpful advice. Monthly team activities are also provided to strengthen the team bonding. Office is central located and easily access by public transport.

Cons

It is a fast growing UK start up company, there are challenges for working closely in different time zones with another 2 offices in US and China. Sales is not allowed to take holiday in Peak season ( May-Aug ). Have to study and attend regular exams for product and service update .
