Pros

This place can be a stepping stone for some who are new to the field, but other than that this company has nothing else to offer. Also, don't get fooled by the positive reviews those are from the people either in HR or the call center who are told to write those reviews from the managers/CEO, for anyone who is looking to make a career or even make a decent salary, this place is just terrible. Again, avoid this company.

Cons

The turnover rate at this company is crazy high, people will leave as soon as they realize what they have gotten into. The few who choose to stay behind are not treated well either, no raises, no reviews, salaries are way below the market value. The culture is toxic, no one likes to be here, everyone one is looking for alternatives and just linger around until something comes along. The management has no interest in changing anything. Not really sure how this place has been around for this long. For a company that boosts its ego based on its clientele and its reach in market research, most of those clients will never return for other projects because that's how terrible the delivered data is, "oversell and under deliver" is the motto here. There is nothing good that this place can offer you, if you are someone with no experience and just want to get that, then you may get something out of Luth. In short, this place will exploit you for what you have, pay as less as possible and show no respect for what you do.

Pros

I worked on the analytics team, so I can only speak about that environment. Most of the positive reviews about Luth come from the admin or phone room staff. 1) sometimes it's possible to work from home if you obtain permission from your supervisor in advance.

Cons

1) fast-paced working environment with unreasonable deadlines. 2) everyone on the Analytics team is overloaded with deliverables. 3) Management and sales teams have no experience in big-data analytics or platforms, so they often oversell/overpromise unreasonable deliverables to the clients. 4) The analytics platforms are completely out-dated. 5) There is a lot of self-learning that needs to be done. 6) Massive turnover rate in analytics staff. 7) There is no time to optimize or improve existing analytics platforms or methodology. More importantly, management doesn't care if you try to optimize things. 8) Analytics methodology is completely outdated. 9) Benefits are pretty bad. Employees have to be employed at Luth for at least 1 year before they can take advantage of the retirement benefits. 10) a second chance company that employs felons.
