Used to be a great place to work but has gone very downhill since the company performance has massively fallen and redundancy’s were made. Avoid and look elsewhere if you want to be recognised, compensated well and feel secure in your job. No bonuses in the last 5 years and maybe more? Despite being a ‘company perk’. No pay-rises and very very little promotions, most talented people leave to gain more compensation. Discount seems great but is now very limited and more brands are planned to have discount removed. Constant change in vision and direction with many CEOs coming and going when performance doesn’t improve. In tech, you could be working on something which becomes pointless due to something higher priority which exec think will save the company (obviously, this never works out). Exec should listen to employees ideas and trust their judgement, but they don’t. Management in Tech & Product department is absolutely shocking. Most ‘heads of..’ or ‘leads’ have no management experience or training, and it’s very clear - probably the decisions made by the low talented ‘management’ is the reason for poor performance and tech product that is way below standards for a luxury retailer. Staff turnover is extremely high in this department due to the frustration which simply isn’t worth the little compensation compared to market rates. HR seem very unorganised with lack of knowledge on any processes, probably not their fault but I’ve seen more policies at a start-up company!
