      No leadership, no management, low pay & benefits, directionless

      Cons

      Company lost its way long ago. After 2 years, new president has had no positive impact. There is no leadership or management of quality. Hiring third rate people to fill the gaps, not the exceptional employees they should be hiring. Sponsors no longer differentiate MITRE from SETA contractors. Pay and benefits are below competitive with others in the industry, with endless money to keep too many layers of leadership employed.

      Pros

      There are not pros for working at MITRE. Very low job stability.

      Cons

      The company is extremely hostile environment for republicans. Especially for republicans of the wrong gender or race, who are considered the enemy by the homogeneous HR department. Individuals are targeted, framed, and eliminated. A point system is used for hiring, which is designed to skew hiring towards specific genders and races. I have also witnessed people cut from recruiting pipelines based on age and handicaps.
