Pros
Very nice people, i worked at CBD area and managers were all so down to earth and friendly will talk to you regardless if you are crew/manager and it makes time past faster when ure in an enjoyable working environment pay uh still passable... at cbd areas $8hr but at more neighbourhood areas its low 7.50hr not sure if it was raised for crew accept students no interview required free food unlimited drinks min commitment only 1month quite flexible in terms of how many days u can work a week but must state before applying for managers theres free taxi back if you stay late like 11+ midnight
Cons
SEVERE manpower shortage especially for managers -everything must be done yourself super long hours 6days work week pay is disproportionate to amount of work how it works is that managers have a contract and fixed pay for the set number of hours you're supposed to work , but if u work past that theres no OT :") what happens is that most of the time if youre doing closing its normal to work way past your allocated timing but hey u dont get paid for it i always see my managers going home at 1+am sometimes even 2 if its busy but this may just be my store bc its a tourist spot can get REALLY busy esp around cbd area hence must be able to handle fast paced environment since lack of manpower sometimes only 1-3 people doing everything it can get quite crazy very tiring the people makes everythign 10x better the work.. not great
