      Good place to start an electronics engineering career.

      Pros

      very technical lab-related work available. senior engineers very helpful and emphasis on design was there. this was a pure design house - both analog and digital electronics.

      Cons

      salary was about 20% below civil service equivalent. not easy to get proomotions. economy probably had a lot to do with it, but a "great job" earns about a 1% raise with no bonus. get your salary on the offer...
