Pros

Being a new & evolving organisation it gives chance to experiment and have an open environment towards the new ideas. Leadership is participative.

Cons

The organisation is like a start-up as it is new to India & the business here. One must be aware to the challenges related to it. At the same time these can be the hidden opportunities.

Pros

This part is just for context setting, and not really 'Pros'. I work at the corporate office in Gurgaon, in mid-senior position in a prominent function (without divulging more details). Talking about pros, job has good work life balance; and HR organizes events time to time and that gives good feeling.

Cons

It will be a long section! To summarize, avoid MTS unless you have no other options. People have very low level of intellect, and that applies to top management. Very few CXOs are smart. Having worked in top MNC firms (in India and abroad) before, I am appalled to see business sense and how people function. Absolute lack of professionalism, poor quality work, non-existent career path and non-transparent review process. Recruitment folks lie at the time of interview process, tell blatant lies while making offers. Worst part is the racism and century old hierarchical culture that prevails! MTS is a Russian company and therefore there are many expats, primarily at senior positions. And the kind of treatment they get and what others get; there is huge visible difference! Senior people (including so called 'broad-minded' westerners) preferred to be called 'sir' instead of their names, treat housekeeping and pantry guys like low-level employees. It is disgusting environment, and you would feel it strongly if you have earlier worked in a professional MNC firm before. Company has no future. I am surprised how shareholders (and CEO) are not able to sense how incompetent the management is which is resulting into poor financial results consistently.
