Good as a stepping stone, massive respect/bullying issue
Pros
Can carve out a role for yourself Some managers are supportive HR in the UK are helpful - but only when meeting over half way and are fully flexible to company rather than own life.
Cons
Culture of bullying is allowed to go unpunished No processes no matter how good are adhered to and due to this improvements can only go so far Pay increases are terrible (standard 1% and bonus are nice to have, but will never achieve full bonus as no one will explain what criteria needs to be met. There is no training or improvement available - even though it is supposedly in the budget. Forget any type of management opportunities or career progression if you are female. There are virtually no females within management structure across EU at all even though most of the teams are female, natural progression is not forthcoming. Company culture is that to be a manager and have an increased salary, you have to have people report into you, and the company is so lean and refuses to take on more staff that will never happen. Site facilities in Birmingham are actually terrible
