Pros

If you are looking for a job to work within the Salesforce ecosystem this company will at least do that for you.

Cons

MapAnything has many new executives that are struggling to understand their role, the company's direction, and fight for their own jobs. John Stewart, the companies CEO and co-founder is a horrible example of a leader that treats everyone in his company as property instead of people that have chosen to dedicate their career to furthering his organization. During my time there I saw multiple people fired without notice and then during the separation process treated like nothing other than an annoyance when trying to understand things like separation process, benefits, COBRA, etc. If you choose to take on a role at this company keep your resume up to date and look for other jobs as a backup because you could get let go at any moment.

Pros

Joining MapAnything 4 years ago was the best career decision I’ve ever made. We have expanded a great deal since I joined the company, but MapAnything maintains an agile startup mentality, and continues to provide innovative, market-leading solutions. Our CEO has an infectious passion for our company, and is truly invested in the success of clients and employees. Each year, I’ve had the opportunity to take on more responsibility, allowing me to grow and develop both on a professional and personal level. - Great brand and products people know/love - Salesforce venture funded - A great culture of enthusiastic and driven professionals - Passionate and driven leadership team - Disruptive technology and innovative development team

Cons

As the company continues to grow there is inevitably changes & challenges. Work loads can be high at times.

Pros

Let's use the term personal growth loosely, your yoga sessions don't make up for the ridicule and BS. Talent is also relative. No one at this company has any enterprise-class experience, a majority with less than 3 years of sales experience alone. Don't sell me about how talented the team is when no one has done anything to justify such. Refine your internal processes...or lack thereof. Still won't fix you being miserable. Stock option won't matter if they can't exercise them when you bankrupt the company. Yes, the open workplace design really keeps everyone in touch, so much so that all of your product managers left and your sales churn could peel paint. Hey, that monthly newsletter though...

Cons

Gossip has nothing to do with your results and inability to execute. Lack of structure isn't an excuse for poor leadership and vision. Hand holding isn't necessary, but having a clue is. A monkey could sell MapAnything when a need is present. Your problem is who controls the need and distribution of the need internally. Missing quota does suck, but gossip happens when the entire company doesn't hit quota EVER ;)
