Pros

You get Marc Jacob’s clothes and shoes as uniform every new season. The commission is a good extra money. Sometimes good incentives.

Cons

There is a high turnover of management. The current Assistant Manager often behaves unprofessionally when speaking about team members and is generally unhelpful in resolving conflicts between employees. Management tends to micromanage operations and frequently makes promises about increasing commission rates—claiming changes are approved and guaranteed—which ultimately never materialize. The commission percentage remains quite low. Additionally, some terminations have been handled in an unprofessional manner. Time off for holidays is also very restricted. There are several months during the year when taking vacation is not allowed, even though these periods are not tied to peak seasons like Christmas, when blackout dates are more understandable. I believe the full-time store lead lacks the ability to manage our store with the necessary level of professionalism. Although the company often promises growth opportunities and support for internal development, open positions that became available were never offered or even discussed with the current staff. We were not given the chance to apply or interview. There is a lack of proper training and transparency when it comes to supporting the team’s growth and development.
