Pros

Very easy environment if you can do as your told and stay under the radar.

Cons

Management that have meetings about meetings and never pick up the phone and talk to an average customer to reality check their strategy. This approach leaves them seeming detached from reality when talking to their teams. Products that have remained almost exactly the same for decades because of this. No chance of promotion for anyone outside of management.

Pros

The pay is decent, the location is decent.

Cons

The leadership of this company is very risk-averse -- and also cheap. There is no plan for how to improve the business model, which is based on a 20th Century premise: research various industries and write in-depth reports that are then sold to investors. Nowadays, anyone with a hi-speed internet connection can do their own research on an industry.
