Pros

Company is a leader in the MMM space and especially in the unified Attribution space. Clients respect the deep experience and knowledge. Client-facing software tools are among the best that I've used. Team morale and learning environment is improving rapidly. Compensation is extremely competitive. Client base keeps growing - no worries about downsizing or job security, no fears about recessions.

Cons

The work is hard and the hours can be long.

Pros

You learn exactly what you don't want for your next job

Cons

- Work life balance: nonexistent, your day starts at 7am and ends at 3am, from Monday to Sunday, and of course during your vacations - No career growth: promotions are based on how well you can suck up to the CEO - Toxic environment: analysts are sometimes yelled at or humiliated in front of their peers; some leave the office crying and the technical team in Bangalore is belittled and treated like sub-humans - Salaries: It's a joke compared to what you can actually make in Consulting - Learning opportunities: None - when you leave, you barely know how to use basic Excel and Powerpoint, and you know nothing about the industry - Analytic tool: It's a joke - if a client wants to see a certain number, MMA will more or less make this number appear ex nihilo, even if there isn't any math behind it. - Presentation to clients: 75%+ are done an hour before showing up in front of clients, therefore they'll contain many typos, calculation errors, unjustifiable results, ... To this day, I still can't fathom how the executives manage to sell the work to such gullible clients At this point I know exactly what you are thinking: "Why do people still come to/stay in this dreadful company?" The answer is simple: most of the work force is composed of young foreigners who are desperate to stay in the US, and will do literally anything to stay in the country.
